Phantasy Star Online 2 Ported To PS Vita

SEGA announced earlier nowadays that Phantasy Star Online 2 won’t be exclusive PC title. The game will also head to the PlayStation Vita sometime in 2013 in Japan. Watch the three-minute announcement clip at the end of the article. If the Vita version doesn’t see too irresistible yet, well, it is only 10% finished. The development team still plans to release the PC version of Phantasy Star Online 2 this year, then focus more on the Vita version afterwards. Series producer Sakai Satoshi had wanted to release it on another platform (console or portable) all along, actually. This is because the initial Phantasy Star Online was initially released on the Dreamcast, and the Phantasy Star Portable (PSP) games seem to be popular. The Vita recreation will be an online-only title. He also confirmed that both PC and Vita players will play on the same server, and you can access your same characters on both platforms.
